When Scott and Stephanie Denton met almost ten years ago, they had a lot in common. Armed with their faith, years of experience in construction and marketing, and a passion for home building, they developed a reputation for excellence as one of Iowa’s award-winning home builders.
Scott has a construction background in building, renovating, and heating and cooling. He grew up in a small town near Creston and has envisioned being a part of home building since he was little. Scott’s vision for taking an idea and bringing it to life is his true gift as a home builder. That, coupled with structured project management and solid relationships with his industry counterparts and business partners, has set Denton Homes apart as an exceptional builder — one of the leaders in the field.
Stephanie has a former career in sales and marketing in the technology and financial industries. She grew up on a farm near Iowa Falls. Stephanie enjoys working with families during the home building process — helping them to make design decisions that fit their lifestyle and budget.
Building homes in the Des Moines area, Sun Valley Lake, and Lake Panorama, the Dentons have based their construction business on small-town Iowa values — integrity, hard work, and a sense of humor! Together they bring a unique blend of home building experience to the table and as a couple they understand the “His and Hers” aspect of building a home.
